If you are reading this article, We hope you should have installed Serverless360 and activated your account with a valid license. For details on Serverless360 installation please refer, Prerequisites and Installation
To get started with managing your Azure serverless entities with Serverless360, the following should be configured:
01. Associating Service Principals
Any 3rd party software like Serverless360 or any custom application for that matter, will need authorization credentials to gain access to Azure services. Serverless360 will use Service Principal, an app registered in the Azure Active Directory, with contributor access on the Azure subscription or Azure Resource Groups or individual resources like Service Bus Namespaces, Logic Apps, Functions etc. that needs to be managed and monitored in Serverless360
How to create a Service Principal and associate it with Serverless360 ?
02. Associating Namespaces
If the intention is to manage only Messaging, Event Hub or Relay Namespaces and entities inside it, Associating Service Principals step can be skipped. Associate a namespace using connection string with Manage claims.
03. Composite Applications
Composite Application is a logical entity that can be used to group Azure Resources like Queues, Topics, Relays, Event Hubs, Logic Apps, Azure Functions and API EndPoints that constitute a Line of Business Application in the Integration Solution Architecture. These resources can be from different Azure Subscriptions and namespaces. Entities have to be associated to a Compostie Application to perform operations and monitoring.
Once the above configuration is complete, the application is all set . Please refer how to add entities to your Composite Application ?
Not Mandatory
The following configurations are not mandatory to get started. They can be done as required.
